Mary C. Smith Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

SMITH Mary C. Mary C. Smith, 86, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014, at the Goerlich Center. She was born November 16, 1927, in Toledo and was the daughter of John and Sophia (Mancini) Capriotti. Mary was a longime member of Gesu Church. She also volunteered at Toledo Hospital. Mary's daily routine for years was to go to the Franklin Park Mall where she would meet with her special group of friends. Survivors include her children, Carolyn M. (Jerry) Harris, Marilyn A. (Dave) Wagner, Ken A. (Jane) Smith, Mark F. Smith and John C. Smith; grandchildren, Gina (Pat) Treece, Jason (Kelly) Jenkins, Josh (Stacey) Wagner, Ryan (Stacy) Wagner, Kevin (Tyana) Smith and Sara Smith; great-grandchildren, Joel, Alex, Dominic "JJ", Emily, Evan, Mackenzie, Cassidy and Kolton and special childhood friend, Eileen Bryan. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 53 years, Herbert Smith and brothers, Peter Capriotti and Marion Capriotti. Friends are invited to visit from 4-8:30p.m., Monday, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, (between Secor and Douglas Roads). Visitation will also be held Tuesday, at Gesu Church, 2049 Parkside Blvd. from 10 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
