Yvonne Marie Hutchinson

Yvonne Marie Hutchinson passed away peacefully on July 24, 2018. She was 79 years young. Yvonne was known for her cooking. Well, not good cooking but she could lovingly open a can of fruit cocktail, cling peaches or a container of unseasoned green beans, sans apron, of course, and much to the delight/fright of her family. Ah, but what she did bring to the table was a wonderful spirit of wit and humor, love of friends and family, and hosting fun, family get-togethers, where catering options were always a beautiful thing! She also had an eye and life-long passion for art, enjoying classes with friends, and creating beautiful watercolor and acrylic paintings, among other pieces. And sometimes you’d find her driving to art classes out and about town in her sweet, sporty red convertible, with sunglasses on, gray hair blowing in the breeze! Yvonne is survived by her loving husband, John, better known as “Hutch;” son John Hutchinson, Jr. (Janet), daughter Robin Hutchinson Bell (Julian), granddaughters Abbey Jennings (Shawn), Kelsey Kimmelman (Jim), and Mackenzie Bell; great grandson, Micah; sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Norm Arnold; many beloved nieces and nephews who affectionately called her “Beebon” or “Beebs;” and of course, many dear and special friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joel and Thelma McCreary, and siblings Joel McCreary and Jackie Vaughn. Born in Toledo, Ohio, on November 10, 1938, Yvonne was a 1956 graduate of DeVilbiss High School and worked for many years for Helvey, Smith and Company. So, there are at least two ways you can celebrate Yvonne’s life. First, please consider sharing a favorite family recipe and/or a restaurant meal with your friends and family. Nothing says love like comfort food and lively conversation.
