Adolf H. Reisig, 71, of Toledo, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010, at St. Anne Mercy Hospital. He was born October 3, 1939, in Toledo, and was the son of Adolf and Erna Reisig. Adolf was a member of the former St. Agnes Catholic Church and the Eagles Club. He worked as a tool & die maker at Daimler Chrysler, for over 20 years, before retiring. Adolf had many hobbies and especially enjoyed, fishing, model train collecting, bowling and coin collecting. Survivors include his son, Karl (Michelle) Reisig; daughters, Anne (Ron) Guiliani and Jane Reisig; grandchildren, Amber, Jon, Brian and Kristie; great grandchildren, Bailee and Samantha. He is also survived by his sister, Margarete (Michael) Goodall and brother, Donald Reisig. Adolf was preceded in death by his wife, Marilou Reisig and son, William Reisig. Friends are invited to visit from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue. Prayers will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, from the funeral home, followed by the funeral Mass at 11 a.m., in Blessed Sacrament Church. Father P. Martin Donnelly will officiate. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
