Carolyn Zink Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carolyn J. Zink (Denner) was born on January 1, 1934 to Francis and Evelyn Denner, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She married her high school sweetheart, LeMar “Lou” Zink on July 27, 1953, where they enjoyed 67 happy years together. Retired from Lydy, Moan and Douglas, Carolyn enjoyed gardening, spending time in the peaceful outdoors, and most of all, she loved being a positive influence in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the voice of reason, the rock of the family, who never said no when help was needed. She is preceded in death by her husband, LeMar “Lou” Zink, parents, Francis and Evelyn Denner, sister, Shirley Hall, and brother in law, Dale Hall. She is survived by her children, Stephanie Singer, Cheryl (Jim) Mocek, Steve (Cathy) Zink, 7 grandchildren, Kimberly, Christie, Matthew (Serena), Kendal, Maureen (Nathan), Colleen (Duy), Elizabeth (Alex), 9 great- grandchildren, Austin, Landon, Braxton, Jaxon, Carter, Lily, Henry, Charlie, and Caroline. Friends may visit the family from 10AM to 11AM on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 2240 Castlewood Drive, Toledo, Ohio 43613, where funeral Mass will be held at 11AM. Interment will follow funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ProMedica Hospice.
