BARTJA Corrine M. Corrine M. Bartja, 76, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015, at the Genesis Rehabilitation Center, Sylvania. She was born June 21, 1939, in Cleveland and was the daughter of Charles and Emily Seedhouse. Corrine was a school teacher and taught in Cleveland, OH, Berea, OH and at St. Catherine’s School, Toledo. She also worked as a supervisor at J.C. Penney Store at Miracle Mile. Corrine along with her husband, William, were the owners of Minnie Pearl’s Chicken Restaurant, in the early 1970’s. Corrine is survived by her sons, Bob Bartja, Bruce Bartja and Brad (Joan) Bartja; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Dave) Kross and daughter-in-law, Denise Bartja. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Bartja; sisters, Carol Dray, Adela Rosenberger, Emily Maro and Janet Edwards; brothers, Charles Seedhouse and Gerald Seedhouse and son, William Bartja. Friends are invited to visit from 2-6 p.m., Sunday, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, (between Secor and Douglas Roads). Services will be held Monday, at 11 a.m., at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. (please meet at cemetery). Fr. Francis Speier will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to G.T.
