FLYNN David P. David P. Flynn, 70, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015. He was born on February 29, 1944, in Flint, MI. and resided in Flint, Toledo and Manistee, MI. David was a retired metallurgist, employed by Erie Steel Treating. He was also an accomplished artist. David is survived by his wife of many years, Helen (Degnan) Flynn; children, Michael (Sariah), Kathleen (Steve) Florence, Philip, Matthew and Bridget (Richard) Kovacs; siblings, Daniel (Kay Ball), Thomas (Barbara), Mary (Michael) Schira, Patrick (Nancy) and Terese (Thomas) Bowles. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Autumn and Damien, Alexandrian, Dominic and Wyatt, Ashley, Brittney and Zachary, Bailey and Collin, Chance and Ian; great-grandchildren, Keagan and McKenna, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Helen Flynn. Friends may gather at the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, (between Secor and Douglas Roads), from 10 a.m. until a celebration of David’s life, at 12 noon, Thursday. Memorial contributions may be the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Diabetes Association.
