Frances M. "Frannie" Tucker, 99, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008, at the Franciscan Care Center. She was born August 15, 1908, in Chicago, IL and was the daughter of Norman and Julie McLeod. Frannie enjoyed traveling throughout the country and abroad and was a member of the Catawba Island Club for over 25 years. Survivors include her sons, Norman (Darles) Tucker and Robert (Sondra) Tucker; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Frannie was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Tucker in 1961, son, Theodore Tucker; daughter, Ellen Dent and Frances "Honey" Amstutz. Family and friends are invited to visit from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Reverend Robert L. Wuellner will officiate. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Franciscan Care Center.
