Gale Mary Marok, 83, of Toledo passed away February 24th at her home. She was born November 11, 1928, in Toledo and was the daughter of James and Rena Peregoy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Walter Marok in 2009. She was the last of her five siblings. Survivors include her children, Richard (Marilyn), Tom (Pam), Sandy (Donald) Stubleski, Deborah (Bill) Guntsch, Kitty Punches, Wayne and Robert (Bridget); grandchildren, Wendi (Michael), Todd (Stephanie), James (Fei Fei), Lindsey, Rena (Ray), Don Jr. (Andrea), Catina (Matt), Michael (Jacquelyn), Christy (Jeff) and Paul; great-grandchildren, Noah, Madisyn, Patrick, Hunter, Dominic, Charles and Alex. Gale Mary loved children very much and volunteered her time at Blessed Sacrament and ran their gym program. She also worked with the children at the YMCA in their daycare program. Friends are invited to visit from 12pm to 6pm Sunday in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, where a scripture service will be at 5pm. Prayers will begin at 9:30am Monday at the funeral home followed by the funeral Mass at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Church 4227 Bellevue Road, Toledo where Monsignor Michael R. Billian will officiate.
