James Stacey Thorpe, 62, of Toledo died peacefully December 5th at Toledo Hospital. He was born January 1st, 1958, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Jim graduated from Springfield High School in 1976 and attended Bowling Green State University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in 1983. He was a sales representative for Brown Shoe Company, which relocated him to his beloved Pacific Northwest. Jim later worked in sales for Teleflora and Burt's Bees. Jim returned to Toledo in 2016 and was employed by Art Van Furniture and Love's Furniture. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Jim is survived by parents Marylin Thorpe Hodak and Robert Hodak of Maumee, brother Michael Thorpe (Diane), and sisters Tracy Peterson (Steve) and Amy Thorpe Wiley (Jim). He was proceeded in death by his father, Edgar H. Thorpe and mother, Eva Rae Cavasina (James). A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
