Jane H Gardyza
April 15, 1928 - January 4, 2021
Jane H. Gardyza, beloved aunt and cousin, passed away on January 4, 2021 at the age of 92. A lifelong Toledo resident, Jane was born on April 15, 1928 to Piotr and Anna Gardyza. Jane was very proud of her 52-year career at Libbey Glass, where she was a decorator of specialty ware. Although never married, Jane was actively involved in the lives of her nieces, nephews and their children, bringing them great joy. Jane took great pride in her flower beds. She had a passion for gardening and yardwork and could be found sprucing up around her house even in her nineties. Although not one to bring attention to herself, her kind and generous spirit was hard to miss. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia (Chester) Jablonowski, Dolores Gardyza and Helen Gardyza, and brother, Peter (Pauline) Gardyza. She is survived by her cousin, Diane Froman; nieces, Joyce Noggle and Paulette Pakulski; nephews, Robert (Sharon) Jablonowski, Thomas (Ann Marie) Jablonowski and Jeffrey (Kim) Gardyza; second cousins, Craig (Janette) Froman, Ann (Tim) Murphy and Eric (Traci) Froman; great-nieces, Aimee (Bill) Hager, Rachael (Mark) Fitzpatrick, Sarah (Jeff) Smithers and Krysten Jablonowski and great-nephews, Erik Noggle and Michael (Megan) Jablonowski. We gratefully acknowledge Sunset Village for the care and compassion provided to Jane for the last three months Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 12:00pm Friday January 8, 2021 at St. Adalbert Church, 3233 Lagrange Street, Toledo, Ohio 43608, where friends are invited to visit after 11:00am.
