Jean E. Jean E. Wenzlaff, 83, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, August 03, 2011, at Ebeid Hospice Residence. She was born March 27, 1928, in Toledo and was the daughter of Edgar and Madaline Hansen. Jean began her working career at Dohler Jarvis, where she met her husband, Erwin. She then went to work at Toledo Edison and worked for 9 years at the Toledo Stamp Exchange. She was a member of Glenwood Lutheran Church, the Toledo Stamp Collectors Club and the GBU. Survivors include her husband of nearly 60 years, Erwin Wenzlaff; daughters, Sue Wenzlaff and Sandra Frank; grandsons, Joshua and Jonathon Frank and great-granddaughter, Jailyn Frank. Jean was preceded in death by her twin brother, Eugene “Eddie” Hansen. Friends are invited to visit from 2-8 p.m. Friday, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday. Pastor Melissa Micham will officiate. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Ebeid Hospice Residence of ProMedica Hospice or Glenwood Lutheran Church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and aids on the 2nd floor of Lake Park and the staff of Ebeid Hospice Residence.
