Jessica E. Burton, 92, passed away peacefully at home with family, on April 17, 2014. She was born on January 5, 1922, in New Castle, Kentucky to Hattie and John Jones. She was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church. Jessica was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a former member of A.B.W.A She is survived by her children, Wanda (John) Lutheran, Robert (Linda) Burton, Peggy (Marion) Parsons, Patricia (Viviano) Diaz, James (Roxanne) Burton, and William (Gaye) Burton; grandchildren, Nick Parsons, Shelly Rose, John Lutheran, Tony Parsons, Colleen Friel, Sean Burton, April Christensen, Crystal Bennett, Robert Burton Jr., Christopher Diaz, Melissa Shoemaker, Natasha Kinsey and Holly Aikmus. Also surviving are 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank her caretakers Uson and Elisha, Hospice homecare nurses and Dr. Emch. Friends are invited to visit after 11:00am on Tuesday April 22,2014, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue (between Secor and Douglas Roads) where services will begin at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Her family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 East River Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
