Kenneth Buechele

Kenneth Buechele, 83, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2008, in The Toledo Hospital, following a brief illness. He was an active member of the Indoor Sports Club for 54 years, and developed lifelong friendships there. He especially enjoyed traveling with fellow members and was known to always have his camera close at hand. He attended Grace Lutheran Church for the past 20 years. He had many challenges throughout his life but never once complained. His kindness and good humor were always present and will be remembered by family and friends. He will be especially missed by his loving companion of over 40 years, Marie Weigel and his good friend, Barbara Lighthill, who shared many good times with him. Kenny was fortunate to have them both in his life. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2-7 PM in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, (between Secor & Douglas Roads). A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 4441 Monroe Street, on Monday at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Ability Center of Greater Toledo, 5605 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH or the American Cancer Society.
