Lois Julia Morris

March 17, 1917 - December 15, 2013

Lois J. Morris, 96, passed away December 15, 2013, at Aspen Grove Assisted Living Residence in Lambertville. She was born in Toledo, OH on March 17, 1917 to Edward and Viola Christlieb and graduated from Whitmer High School and Davis Business College. She was married in 1938 to her husband, Harry; and their marriage lasted 73 years until his passing in 2011. She began her working life as a secretary Bellman Bookbinders, then as a secretary for Reformation Lutheran Church, where she was a charter member. She served the church for many years and left to work closer to home for General Telephone in Lambertsville, MI before retiring to enjoy her hobbies and extensive travels with her husband, Harry. Her many loves were her family, oil painting, traveling, bird watching and gardening. She was predeceased by her son, Glenn, and is survived by her son, Michael (Jackie); grandsons, Chad (Sarah), Chris (Krista), and Robert; step granddaughters, Victoria and Kimberly; daughterin- law, Marjorie Morris; step grandson, Jason Harley,and numerous great_grandchildren. A special thanks to the workers at Aspen Grove Assisted Living, Erie West Hospice, and her niece, Carolyn Clevenger, for all of their kind and loving assistance in her care. Friends are invited to visit after 11:00am on Thursday, December 19, 2013, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 W. Sylvania Ave., where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
