Marcella "Marcy" Huffman

HUFFMAN Marcella "Marcy" Marcella "Marcy" Huffman,87, of Columbus, IN, passedaway on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at her home at Greentree Assisted Living.Born in Toledo, Ohio April 8,1927, Mrs. Huffman was the daughter of Roy H. and Mary Gilbert Graham. She married Richard Martin "Dick" Huffman December 21, 1947. He preceded her in death November21, 2012. A 1948 graduate of The Ohio State University, Mrs.Huffman was a lifetime member of The Ohio State Alumni Association, a member and past president of the Human Ecology Alumni Association at Ohio State and a member and past officer of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority at Ohio State University. She also was a member of Palestine Chapter 51 Order of Eastern Star.Mrs. Huffman was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo and Sharon Woods BaptistChurch in Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Huffman is survived by children, David (Carla)Huffman of Kansas City, Missouri, Mark (Mona) Huffman of Peachtree City, Georgia, Jeanne (Bill) Altmiller of Columbus, Indiana and Tim (Amy) Huffman of Toledo, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister, Pat Steinhour of Cadillac, Michigan; a sister-in-law, Lois Huffman of Bay Village, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Huffman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Martin "Dick" Huffman; a son, Charles "Chip" Huffman; a grandson, Daniel "Danny" Altmiller; a sister, Maryetta Davison; half sisters, Geneva Black and Edna Grimwood, and a half brother, Dwight Graham. Friends are invited to visit after 11 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015, in the First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo, where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Rev. Ricky Altmiller, her grandson, and Rev. Daniel Bellavia Officiants. Interment will immediately follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
