Nora Keaveny

Nora Keaveny, of Toledo, passed away Saturday at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, surrounded by her family. Nora was born to Thomas and Ellen (Dunn) Mahony and raised in County Kerry, Ireland. She lived and worked in London, England before moving to Toledo where she met and married her husband, Eddie, a native of County Roscommon, Ireland. Nora was a loving mother and mother in law, and an exceptional grandmother. She was known for her warm heart, her love of animals, her outstanding homemade cookies, and her beautiful flower gardens. ? Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10:00am Wednesday in St. Catherine Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Prayers will be recited at 9:20am Wednesday in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home 3000 Sylvania Avenue. At Nora's request there will be no visitation. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Nora is survived and will be deeply missed by her son, Ed (Denise), her daughter, Marian (Pat) Mallon, and her six cherished grandchildren, Eddie, Katie, and Rachel Keaveny and Sean, Brian, and Bridget Mallon. She was preceded in death by her husband and by nine brothers and sisters.
