Norman Gogol

GOGOL NORMAN Norman Gogol's spirit has been reunited with Christ Jesus this 17th day of May, 2010. Norm had recently celebrated his 91st birthday with his family and friends, sharing love and memories. He was an avid poker player and enjoyed golf as well. Norm retired from Gerity Die Cast after 43 years of employment as an industrial engineer. He served his country in the Coast Guard from 1942 to 1945 and was a lifetime member of VFW Frankowski Post 545. Surviving Norm is his sister, Sylvia (Mer) McCormack of Modesto, CA; also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews . He was preceded to heaven by his loving wife, Irene Gogol; his sister Sally (Clem)Dembrowski and his brother, Stanley (Jane) Gogol. Friends are invited to visit on Friday, May 28th 2010 from 3:00 to 7:00pm in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave., where a prayer service will begin at 7 pm. A memorial mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church Saturday, May 29th at 10:00am. Norm requested memorial contributions be made to donor's charity of choice.
