Raymond "Ray" Orzechowski, 81, passed away May 13, 2008 at Lake Park Comfort Care.? He was born March 23, 1927 to Joseph and Harriet Orzechowski in Toledo.? Ray honorably served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during World War II.? He retired from Gerrity-Schultz after serving as a supervisor for many years. He was a longtime member of St. Clement Church.? Ray was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish,? and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lillian; children, Kathy (Robert) Casaletta, Tom Orzechowski, Mark (Lisa) Orzechowski, John (Peggy) Orzechowski; grandchildren, Anthony, Jennifer, Mark Jr., Sara, Michael, Erin, Megan; and brother, Clarence (Rosemary) Orzechowski.? He was preceded in death by his sister, Delores Mack. Services will be 10:00am Friday in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home 3000 Sylvania Avenue where friends are invited to visit from 4:00 to 9:00pm Thursday (today).?
