Ronald E. "Ronnie" Schuster

June 28, 1940 - March 11, 2022

Ronald Eugene Schuster “Ronnie”, 81, of Posey Lake, Hudson Michigan formerly of Ida Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday March 11, 2022 surrounded by his family at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania Ohio. He was born in Toledo on June 28, 1940 to Wesley and Gladys (Reau) Schuster. He served his country honorably and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Ronnie attended DeVilbiss High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Sandra Leininger. He was employed by Sharon Manufacturing for 37 years and then Warnke Survey before retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Ottawa Lake Sportsman Club, VFW Post 9656, American Legion, Moose Lodge and FOE. Ronnie enjoyed playing Euchre, Hot Dice, and hunting in northern Michigan. He loved spending time on raft rides, cookouts, and bonfires with family and friends on Posey Lake. He is survived by his loving family, children, Vickie (Michael) Wilkins, Wesley (Janet) Schuster, Jeffrey (Patty) Schuster; 11 grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren; sisters, Donna Fling, Carol (Verne) Kille; in-laws, Cindy Schuster, Teena Good, Connie Toland, Leisa Leininger and Scott (Barb) Leininger. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Sandy, his parents and parent in-laws, brother Donald and brother-in-law Raymond Jr. Ron was loved dearly by his family and became fast friends with everyone that he met. A celebration of life “what a deal” will be held on June 4, 2022 at 1:00PM at VFW Post 9656, 4120 Piehl Rd., Lambertville Michigan where a luncheon will follow until 5:00PM. His family wishes to extend special thanks to all of his caregivers from Posey Lake, Elara Care Home Health nurses, Kingston Rehab Center, and Ebeid Hospice Care for all of their support.
