Ruth Anne Jacob Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Our loving mother Ruth Anne Jacob, 83, passed away on Tuesday June 14, 2022 surrounded by her family. Ruth was born June 6, 1939 in Toledo to the late Jane and Lawrence Paul. Ruth took great pride in raising her seven children. She was a homemaker that worked at various part-time jobs. Ruth enjoyed movies, trivia and watching Jeopardy. She especially loved music and had a lovely singing voice. She had beautiful handwriting and a talent for writing wonderful heartfelt notes inside the many cards that she sent. She is survived by her children, Bob (Brenda) Jacob, Beth (Ken) Sofalvi, Kim (Todd) Hukalo, Robyn Schuller, Kent Jacob, John (Rachael) Jacob, Jolien Jacob; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren (plus one on the way) and sister-in-law, Ann Paul. She was preceded in death by her loving son, James Jacob; and brother, James Paul. Her family wishes to thank Julia and Selena from Ohio Living Hospice as well as her wonderful caregivers at Orchard Villa. Special thanks to CeCe who was a caring health aide. Friends are invited to visit from 4:00-8:00PM on Monday June 20, 2022 in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 W. Sylvania Ave. where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
