Thelma Bly Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Thelma (Wolff) Bly, 89, passed away at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania with her loving family by her side. She was a lifelong Toledo resident. Thelma was a proud graduate of Libby High School and was one of the original waitresses at the Tick Tock Restaurant in downtown Toledo. She was a long time member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She celebrated 45 years of marriage with the love of her life, Maurice Bly who preceded her in death. She leaves behind to cherish her memory sons, Larry (Linda) Bly, David (Donna) Bly, Scott (Kelly) Bly; grandchildren, Michele (Sam) Morthland, Mike, David, Danielle, Ashley, Alexa and Austin Bly; four great-grandchildren and best friend Norma Tucker. Her family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Guntsch, Dr. Wainz, and their staffs, the Toledo Hospital TCU, and Kingston Care Center for the supportive and compassionate care that she received. Friends are invited to visit from 2:00-8:00pm on Sunday August 8, 2010 in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave. where funeral services will begin at 11:00am on Monday. Rev. Lilanthi Ward Officiant. Interment in Floral Grove Cemetery in West Unity Ohio. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
